Who We Are
Ruah Psychology & Wellness is an Australia-wide telehealth psychology practice offering person-centred, evidence-based care, with optional faith-informed support for Christian clients.
Why We Exist
Some clients find it difficult to access psychological care in settings where their beliefs feel misunderstood, dismissed, or avoided. Others may feel unsure where to seek help when support has been limited to pastoral care alone.
Ruah was established to help bridge this gap by offering evidence-based psychological care that is attentive to a client’s worldview, while remaining firmly grounded in ethical standards, professional boundaries, and clinical practice.
Our approach does not direct belief or replace spiritual care. Instead, it recognises that when a client’s faith is meaningful to them, it can be respectfully acknowledged as part of their broader life context — and when it is not, therapy remains fully clinically focused.
By offering clear scope, thoughtful consent, and professional care, Ruah aims to support early engagement, reduce unnecessary distress, and provide a pathway to psychological support that feels safe, respectful, and clinically sound.
