Therapy for Anxiety & Panic
For Christian’s who are feeling anxious or experiencing panic attacks.
Anxiety can feel like panic, restless worry, or a weight on your chest
Sometimes anxiety can show up as constant overthinking, striving for perfection, or feeling restless when you would normally be calm. It can also appear in the body — such as a racing heart, tight chest, tense muscles, or a persistent sense of “never enough.”
If this feels familiar, online anxiety therapy for Christians can help you step out of the cycle of worry and move toward greater calm and steadiness.
At Ruah Psychology & Wellness, we support people who may appear calm on the outside but feel weighed down by ongoing anxiety. We offer evidence-based psychological therapy that is respectful of Christian faith, helping you reduce anxiety, and reconnect with peace. Faith is included only where it is important to you and when it aligns with your therapeutic goals.

Before your appointment, you’ll receive a private link to join—no complicated setup required. All you need is a quiet, private space, a reliable internet connection, and a device with a camera and microphone.
Our sessions are held on a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform, so your privacy and confidentiality are always protected.
Many clients appreciate the convenience of online therapy, as it saves travel time and makes it easier to fit sessions into daily life while still receiving the same professional, compassionate care.

It’s very normal to feel unsure about starting therapy. You’re welcome to get started with one of our psychologists and see how it feels, or simply touch base with us first to ask questions and learn more about our approach. Many clients find that once they begin, they quickly get a sense of whether it’s the right fit for them.
There’s no pressure or commitment—just an open space to explore whether this support could be helpful for you.

Not at all. Having faith doesn’t mean you’ll never struggle. Even the strongest believers in Scripture—David, Elijah, Job, Hannah—faced deep sorrow, anxiety, and despair. Their faith was real, and so were their struggles.
Therapy isn’t about replacing faith. It’s about creating a safe, supportive space where you can bring your whole self—your mind, emotions, and spirit—and explore how to walk through life’s challenges in a healthier way.
Prayer and scripture nurture your relationship with God. Therapy equips you with evidence-based tools and guidance to manage stress, process pain, strengthen relationships, and build resilience. Together, they complement each other and help you grow in wholeness.
Choosing therapy isn’t a lack of faith—it’s a courageous step of stewardship, caring for the mind and body God has entrusted to you.

Yes, absolutely. We welcome and support people of all backgrounds and beliefs. Every client is approached with professionalism, compassion, and respect — and there is no expectation to discuss faith or spirituality unless you want to.
Ruah was founded to create a safe and respectful space for clients for whom Christian faith is an important part of their personal journey, and who may wish — if they choose — to have this thoughtfully integrated into evidence-based psychological care. Clients are invited to indicate whether they would like faith or spirituality to be part of their sessions, and this is always guided by individual preference.
Not all Christian clients choose to integrate faith into therapy. Some simply value receiving support in an environment that understands what matters to them and respects their beliefs. We are equally honoured to work alongside anyone who chooses to engage with our services, whatever their beliefs may be.
If anxiety is making it hard to focus or rest, you are not broken—and you are not alone.
Through therapy that respects your Christian faith, there is a way forward. We’re here to walk alongside you.
